A single blue light glows dimly, indicating the running stereo. All else in the room is in a state of half-darkness and only partially illuminated by a faraway street lantern.
A vivid mix of placid strings and keys contrasted by rough percussion and intense electronic resonate from the black and white towers. I close my eyes as the ever-changing soundscape washes over me. With very change in dynamic, in mood, my thoughts flutter around in accord.
After the towers lapse into silence, I slowly open my eyes and my gaze falls upon the same dark and still room where I started my dive. Yet amidst the motionless scene a chaotic flickering wreaks havoc; the Eigengrau fuses with reality as my eyes fail to adapt to darkness. For several moments the dead-quiet room is drowned in static before my eyes adapt. Then the flickering fades and with it quiet once again reigns.
